dividers for doorways, small bamboo stitched at top free hanging at bottom. small child house for kids to play in. i am using bamboo to cover my garden as it burnt up last year. this will cut down on the sun scorching my garden. last year the heat destroyed my garden. there are many other ideas i have. just think about it. make a cover for you patio. bamboo is very versatile building material. make a covered area in your yard and put a bench in it.

Reply:You can make a little sushi-roller or depending on how big it is...a screen for fences or around your porch. Many kitchen utensils can be carved out of bamboo.

Reply:If you have an old lamp, put the bamboo around the base. Then choose how you want to decorate the shade to match your decor. They are gorgeous.
Reply:turn it into curtian rods, wall coverings, cover plywood screens, erect a plywood fence and then tack the bamboo to it, for an oriental fence, make lawn furniture, a patio cover, lots of things you could do with it.

Reply:You could make instruments like the Tonggatong which is an ethnic instrument here in the Philippines. Others may be the bungkaka, and I think theres a bamboo guitar. You can look for pics on the net. If you're creative enough, try to figure out on your own how to make it.
