How do I remove polyeurathane footprints from new bamboo floors?

We recently put a second story on our home with new bamboo floors upstairs. Once the construction was done we refinished all of the oak floors downstairs, but in the process of refinishing some of the oil or polyeurathane got onto our new bamboo floors. I cannot get rid of the footprint marks. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try using some MEK on a soft rag and slowly rub the foot mark areas. Methyl Ethyl Ketone is sold at paint stores. Lot's of vapors when using so open the windows. I have gotten deep wood stains out using MEK before, especially when using wood stains and the material's finish is to dark. It will remove Polyurethane pretty quickly.
Reply:If the bamboo floors have no finish on them, you can use Goo Gone or Goof Off. If they have a finish, it will also remove that.
Reply:a very fine sandpaper, wet / dry 300/400 count?
