I have always wondered how "lucky Bamboo" is made; how are they produced in that curly habit? Does anyone know, and could they tell me or would that be "Unlucky"!!!

How is lucky Bamboo "made"?
People push on it every day so it will grow in a certain direction so it will look cool, so you can give them money
Reply:in the same way lucky dips are made for the lottery
Reply:The Lucky Bamboo is not a germinacea (bamboo plant). It is a dracenae, (ribbon plant) it love water. When the stem is very young you can shape it in different forms depending how you want them to look. Usually they seal the top of some kind of arrangement so it does stop growing in some way.
Reply:Lucky Bamboo is not bamboo. It is ribbon plant
Reply:lucky bamboo is not bamboo at all...it is the ribbon plant...which is an upright shrub.Growing at an angle, around a support gives it the shape, as it is tender when young
Reply:It's probably just grown around something.
