Should I get bamboo for my room?

I am thinking that since bamboo grows so fast that I should cut it off every once and a while and using it for different crafts, and also to use it for decoration.

in my opinion, i would add bamboo if my room was painted green. (it would match) also bamboo makes people think about china, maybe add tiles on your wall with chinese lettering like luck or prosperity. i'm pretty sure it will turn out fine if you like it.
