What kind of bamboo is this?
ya thats not a great picture for identification.

if thats mature it certainly isnt Bambusa vulgaris (giant timber), it gets 3 to 4 inches in diameter and 50 t0 60 feet tall

It looks more like Bambusa ventricosa to me, hard to tell

If it speads out quickly it may be a runner too, we just need more info
Reply:It may be Bamboosa vulgaris. For confirmation more photographs and some more details are needed. Bamboosa vulgaris is a yellow colour bamboo with green stripes on it, looks beautiful.
Reply:It is Bambusa vulgaris OR Golden Bamboo.
