Help with my lucky bamboo?
sorry its on its way out you may have been giving it too much water, guess it wasnt very luck eh lol
Reply:Here is a website that mentions about "caring for lucky bamboo." Not much, but it also states you can propagate it (make more). Maybe you will be able to do that.

Hope it helps some...

Oh, that site also tells you the meanings behind the number of stalks -- I never knew there were particular meanings for how many stalks were arranged together! I have just been giving the plants to family members "for luck."
Reply:I had this same problem with a bamboo and after much research I found that they go yellow if you water them with tap water. They will apparently grow any where you put them whether it be a bright or dark position but they really do not like water straight from the tap. You need to let tap water stand for at least 24 hours before using it to water your bamboo. I used to fill up empty bottles and leave them in the pantry so that I always had a supply of ready to use water at hand.

Just change your watering technique and see what happens - they are very slow growing but once a twig has gone yellow there is nothing you can do to resurrect it but at least you've got the remaining one which is more than I had. Mine looked so ugly I'm afraid I had to bin it .
