How do I kill Bamboo (chemically)?

Destroy bamboo

How do I kill Bamboo (chemically)?
bleach, spray during the hottest part of the day and watch it die.
Reply:That is near impossible. Have you tried Roundup or some like product. Spray it on all of the leaves (making sure not to hit nearby plants, don't spray on a windy day) when there is not chance of rain to wash it off. It will take a couple of weeks, but it should die down. You may need to spray a second time after rain. Be sure to hit new growth!! This should kill it roots and all. If the root's aren't dead, it's a comin' back!
Reply:roundup weed killer
Reply:bamboo is one of the hardest plants to kill. it seems to multiple overnight. at work we always tell people gasoline and a match.........funny to us but not to the person trying to kill it!
Reply:salt usually works, but no other plants will grow there till you get the salt concentration down.
