How do you care for lucky bamboo?

I recieved a lucky bamboo plant yesterday, I have read up on some information and my current results are as follows; I have 3 stocks in a small pot/vase filled with tiny pebbles in two inches of water with some miracle growth indoor plant formula (yes, I have deluted the formula first), it is also in indirect sunlight. I was wondering if this is all proper technique for maximum growth or if there is more I could possibly do. Also, how much does lucky bamboo typically every day, every week, and every month? Any other information would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you in advance!!!

I have 2 lucky bamboo plants ( one with 3 stocks and one with 1 stock) and they're very easy to take care of. I have mine in a clear, glass vase (that way you can monitor the water level and look at the roots, but any vase should do). As for watering them, once a week is fine and change out the water in the vase about once a month. They grow very rapidly when you first get them, but over time (about 6 months-year) they start to mellow out and reach an ideal height (mine's about 2-3 ft). But I've kept mine in indirect sunlight most of the time although I do put them around some direct sunlight maybe once a month or so just to stimulate their roots. Overall, it's a very easy plant to grow and honestly you don't need the plant formula unless you just want to speed up its growth rate. Good luck with it!
Reply:I got a lucky bamboo plant too the a card came with it that said how to care for it this is what it said:Water it daily and change water once a month.Fertilize your Luck Bamboo every few months with a good diluted Lucky Bamboo, or indoor plant fertilizer.
Reply:I heard from the florist that you are not suppose to change water, that's why I just put into new water when it's needed. I started with no leaf and branch, just a plain stick, but now it's has so many branches and leaves, so I think it's working.
