I'm am looking to purchase a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I would be using the tablet with my desktop and my laptop, both of which have an AMD processor. I was just wondering if anyone has used the tablet effectively with an AMD processor, because the Wacom website claims that an Intel or PowerPC processor are required for the tablet.

it should. Both AMD and Intel are processors.... they can compute data.
Reply:its just a processor. it does not have any barring on if a piece of hardware or software will work.
Reply:Yes, it will work since it's actually a matter of which "operating system" you have and not the CPU itself. When they said Intel or Mac they were trying to illustrate that either a Windows or Mac machine will work.
