Is the wacom bamboo tablet good for graphic art?

I am on a budget of $90.00 so i need something cheap (dont tell me to buy something more expensive). My question is...will it work well for programs such as photoshop cs3, corel painter x, and microsoft office 2007 using a windows xp computer? I am only doing the basics, so will it be enough?

They're good. Especially in Photoshop and Illlustrator. But you get what you pay for. It's a lot easier than using a mouse for drawing, etc. Shop around.
