Need plant Identity: Bamboo-like stalk, 10 feet tall, broad oval leaves, grows in clump.?

Plant cluster is dense. There are a few shoots growing out from main clump. Doesn't appear to have spread very fast but grew quickly in the spring. Leaf shape is not the typical bamboo, notl ong and slender.
