How do you kill bamboo? I cant get it to stop growing in my yard.?

I think I pull out the roots but 2 days later I have a 3 foot bamboo sticking out of the ground, there's just so much of it.

dude, just list them on ebay, ppl pay good money for that stuff. if you sold a few a week you'd make a killing in no time.

Reply:To remove bamboo you need to pull all its roots out. It is not easy but can be done.



I took out two types of bamboo after planting them for few years. The 1st time, I did not took everything out and eventually it grows again. Then I knew how to do it. It really needs a lot of work. You must water the area to make it easier for pulling. You also needs something strong and hard to lever the roots out. And the roots are like millions and its difficult to get it out. Determination is needed. Nowadays, I have them in a large pot/container. It looks nicer. Can be shift and place anywhere you like it to be.
