I am thinking of giving small bamboo shoots in small terracotta jars as wedding favours. I Want them to be eco friendly and plantable. Where can I find these online without spending a fortune? I need about 100 of them... thanks!

Reply:I know this doesn't really answer your question but I wouldn't recommend bamboo shoots as an eco-friendly favour. Outdoor bamboo can be quite invasive and 'lucky' bamboo grows well in water rather than planted.
Potted herbs make a great inexpensive favor and your guest will remember you every time they cook. If you have enough time, you can easily buy seeds and grow all the plants you need.
