PRUNING lucky bamboo?

My Lucky Bamboo has grown too tall, I mean some of the stems are really tall, is it ok so prune them? how would I prune?

PRUNING lucky bamboo?
A Yahoo search for "lucky bamboo care" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 3,120 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.
Reply:I u can prune from the bottom, new roots will form pruning from the top will kill it off (think!)
Reply:"Lucky Bamboo" is NOT actually bamboo; it is a dracena. But To answer your actual question try this: cut it at any of the white lines with the sharp edged instrument of your choice...wait 24 hours until a scar forms then place the part you have cut off in water(every small section will form it's own little plant) until it forms roots then plant the rooted starter plant into the vessel of your choice OR leave it in the water...

Note: the part that is now leafless will grow leaves in time...
