I don't have a pic so I'll try to describe it as best I can. It's approx. 6' h x 10' w. It's a continuance of bamboo sticks held together with durable string. If you can imagine it strung together. I don't have any kind of oriental theme going on in my home so I don't know what to do with it anymore. Although I love that it's a natural element. I used to have it proped up along a wall in my bathroom. I guess I was going for a tropical feel but I got tired of it in there. I bought it a few years back and originaly used it in my living room behind the sofa. I try to re-purpose things before I sell them or toss them so I'm wondering if this is possible with the bamboo screen. Should I take it apart and make something else out of it and if so... what? Or will I get more out of it by selling it? Can it be used outdoors? It's in great condition by the way. Thanks in advance for your ideas. Have a great weekend!
What do I do with my bamboo room divider? Should I sell or re-purpose?
Wow! I'm trying to locate something very much like what you're describing. Would you mind telling me where you found it? I would be most appreciative.
As for your question, there are lots of things you could do with your bamboo especially if you have a yard, garden, patio, etc.. Many of them would require disassembling it. As I'm sure you know, bamboo is used for thousands of purposes - both artistic and functional. One thing that comes to my mind is making a fountain out of it. There are several relatively simple designs which you can find on the web. Here are a few:

Reply:If you want to hide electronics, like TV or computer desk, a screen is a great way too do it! I have a screen hiding my TV stand in my living room and it is so easy to move when I am ready to watch TV and put it back when I am done. I love it!
Reply:does your bed have a headboard?
If not, try using the divider as one. Just an idea...
