i want a baby bamboo shark will not be kept for more than 7months

Will a bamboo shark fit in a 55 gallon?
no it will not. to keep a bamboo shark humanely, you need a circular 200 gallon tank, and specialized equipment. anyway, its unrealistic to believe you can find a home for a fish like this, public aquariums wont take them.
Reply:What are you going to do with it after 7 months?
Reply:Probably not. It will grow about a foot in one year.
Reply:you're pushing the limits there I would say you should never go under 200 because catching and moving them is so stressful on them-I would highly recommend you not do it
Reply:As long as you upgrade it to 180 gallons MINIMUM it should be ok in a 55 gal for a while.
Reply:i wouldn't do it.. they get pretty huge.

it would be very stressed and probably get sick in that small of a tank. i would say upgrade to a 125+++ gallon and then upgrade asap.
