Are bamboo earrings also called door knockers?

Im not sure my friend hadd called umm that but i dont kno that my just b the ghetto way of sayin it but bamboo earrings mught b the proper way, or did she just make it up idk help me out please nd thank u. lol

Door knockers means that something was once in fashion, but then it went out of style, and now they are coming back again. I suspect that bamboo earrings are in where you are, but not where I live yet though Also, 80's fashino is "door - knocking". An example is leggings they were huge in the 80's and they're coming back! Also, square hoops from the 80's are "door - knocking." I think fergie was wearing them in her music video.
