I have this adorable lucky bamboo plant that my boyfriend gave me about 2 years ago,,,anyways, one of my cats have eaten the leaves right off the stalks,,,the stalks look healthy and fine, just no leaves. I was wondering if I should cut the stalks down,,would that encourage new leaf growth??

No, cutting the stalk will kill it. It may take some time but the leaves should grow back. I would put it out of reach of the cat because my cat chewed the stalk of mine and the bamboo died.
Reply:No! They usually look fine without the leaves. Actually, I saw lots of bamboos in stores but never one with leaves!
