North eastern recipes for bamboo shoots (vegetarian only)?

Few days back I saw a program on television showing some really yummy looking recipes made from bamboo shoots, I think they mentioned Manipur.



I would like to know some of these recipes (vegetarian only), can anyone give me such recipes. Iam talking about the North Eastern states of India where bamboo shoots are very popular in diet.

Some of the Chinese recipes call for bamboo shoot and bamboo shoot are also grow in China.



Some of the Japanese recipes call for fresh bamboo shoot too.

Bamboo shoot can be used for stir-frying vegetable, soup etc

It is crunchy.
