Lucky bamboo -- what am I doing wrong?

My bamboo plants are turning yellow on the tips %26amp; don't seem to be growing anymore. Anybody know whats wrong %26amp; how I can fix them?

Lucky bamboo -- what am I doing wrong?
Have you tried cleaning it? Like the rock %26amp; vase. Also try replacing the water. I see that mine does the same if I dont clean it often. I read you're supposed to once a week. Hope this helps!
Reply:Plants need three things to make them grow. Light, warmth and water, (plus some nutrients) Is the bamboo in fairly good light, not direct sunlight but bright indirect light? Is the ambient temperature above 50F. If the room is too cool the plant's chemical processes will not function properly. Does it have sufficient water and is that water clean. A previous respondent mentions cleaning/changing the water regularly, this may help, use rainwater if you can.

Finally does your plant have roots? If it does then you do not need to change the water but it won't live in just water for ever. If it does not have roots then you will need to change it, particularly if it smells a bit.
Reply:mine is doing the same thing i am going to add more water and put it in the sun
